EVO Championship 2012
Hello Fighters,
EVO 2012 is just a week ahead, July 6,7 and 8. EVO stands for Evolution Championship. It's the biggest fighting game tournament that runs every year at Las Vegas. The Games that will be shown in the competition are..
Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012
Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3
Mortal Kombat
Street Fighter X Tekken
Soul Calibur V
King of Fighters XIII
and most recent added,
Skull Girls and Street Fighter II Turbo
There will be multiple channels for live streams. Friday is the casual play, so there's more fighting games to be shown from the list above such as BlazBlue and Arcana Heart. Saturday is the tournament. Some stream will still show some casual and some interviews and announcers on saturdays but main focus are the tournaments. Sundays, are the finals and winner announcement. Let's get Hype!
Here's a short video "EVO 2011 Moments"

Re: EVO Championship 2012
thx can't wait.
it s really sad that vf5fs didn't get the attention it needed from the most famous websites like IGN. with evo though, maybe it will.
i LIKED ur 2k10 games video. too bad it was like, the last time i saw emo dante. he s really more interesting than random dante we see in videos now......
are u busy or is it that there are not that many games worth a video getting released in the future?

Re: EVO Championship 2012
Dope, an EVO 2012 thread!
Just a couple of things to add here:
Tournament Bracket for EVO 2012
- Friday, July 6th, will have Arcade Edition, Soul Calibur V, & King of Fighters XIII
- Saturday, July 7th, will have Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat, SFxT, & King of Fighters XIII again.
There's over $100,000 in prize money for these games, and there's thousands of players playing from over 60 countries; Guam, Chile, UK, Australia, Iran, Canada, and more.
- Side tournies are as followed: Skullgirls, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, Capcom vs SNK 2, and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND.
The Super Turbo Tournament of Legends, will have the following 32 players:
The last couple, will be decided in qualifiers at EVO, and will all play in the finals in Sunday, as well as the rest of the other main games.
I think I pretty much posted everything that needs to be putted up. I know some of you aren't big fighting game fans but please, I guarantee you watching this, will make it the most exciting experience you had for a while. It will get hype, and you'll have a good time.
Not to mention, you get to hear the most hilarious commentary ever so please, watch it!

Aris has always knew about Kayo's gender change, even saying it in his site, http://www.avoidingthepuddle.com. He also really didn't care about it cause he was having fun with it, and it made it up for the most hilarious commentary many have heard in a while.

Yeah, there were alot of upsets this year. I believe it was 1,500 players who entered in AE, and alot of notable players got eliminated early. Tokido especially losing early to a player named Eric Hai. But, Daigo made it in 4th place.
But, EVO was great this year. Don't know if it was necessarily better than last although, KOF was freaking crazy hype.
Poongko had the most epic facepalm ever.
