I think the devs are a bunch of incompetent, braindead monkeys and I hope that Planetary Annihilation flops horribly and they lose their jobs.
And SMNC is dead and in a horrible state of disrepair with absolutely zero chance of redemption or regaining popularity.
Zero chance at all.

I still like the game despite their mistakes, I'll probably keep playing it since we still have about 300 players at any given time.

But it's on it's last legs and dying miserably. I wish for absolutely nobody I know to play this game in the state it's in though, nobody will enjoy it, nobody will have fun with it. You will lose miserably, you will feel miserable, and you will hate it.

In the current state of it right now, it is impossible for anyone who hasn't gotten over the learning curve to be able to have fun. Never. Fucking, Ever.

Doesn't mean I can't like a trailer. Doesn't mean I can't like the game's style and aesthetic enough to not have a bunch of sigs from it.
But it's a dead fucking game.
I know this.

I'm sorry alright? I don't even want to advertise this game to anyone anymore. I didn't even see my posting gameplays as advertising. I've seen people post screenshots of Dota/LoL scoreboards they were proud of and thought it was in the same catagory. Nobody'd fucking like the game anyway since the new player experience is a fucking absolutely terrible slog of failure that's akin to getting your goddamn teeth pulled out.
I will never, repeat, FUCKING NEVER wish for anyone I know to play this game. Unless, by some Godlike, unforseen force of a miracle, most of the issues get fixed and the game becomes more accessible to new players.

But that will not fucking happen.

But again, doesn't mean I can't like the visual style of everything (the only fucking thing those useless devs got right) enough to have sigs from it. I love the characters, I love the art style. I love the dialogue. I love the gameplay when everything is working the way it should.
But I hate. I fucking absolutely hate how bad a game can be for a new player if they don't know how to do everything completely perfect 24/7. And the fucking overdone snowball effect removing any possible learning experience from a player when they can literally do and learn nothing within the first 5 minutes.

I wish you could understand how much it pisses me off to see this game fall flat on it's face. And I'll admit, it partially wasn't the devs fault. But I'm done talking about it.

It's just frustrating to think about it now.

I should take back that "it's the devs fault" comment though, they were nice guys when I talked to them, and they got played a bad hand when Steam bugged all of the beta keys and they had to early release it in an unfinished state. That didn't help it out at all.

It just sucks seeing something that could have been a success just fall apart like that and you just know that something could have been done about it. But now nothing can be done about it and the only players left are the really good ones, making natural player acquisition impossible since you can't get EVERYONE to just hold back and let newbies learn.

But again, apologies for the off topic posts.

As someone who was already hyping the fuck out of this game, this trailer came out, and I swear, I just flipped the fuck out after watching this. Such a PS3 fanboy back then. X)
