I'm back, onna no inus!

Yo Anime Faction, long time no see!
久しぶり！

Many of you will remember me as "Janaff" back on the Gametrailers site. I've been part of AF since late 2007, and I was even a mod beginning in 2009 I believe! Around the time Gametrailers started being really sucky, I also began college. From that point on, I found myself with a whole lot less time to spend on the internet. Now, I have finished my second year of studying towards a degree in East Asian Languages and Cultures, with a focus on Japanese language and literature, and a minor in journalism. I had an immensely great time on AF, and decided that it was time to re-join my longtime second family! :3

During this time, my love for anime has never declined, and I'm eager to discuss it all in-depth with AF again! Last year, I was an officer at KU's (my university) Anime Club. This next school year, I am incredibly privileged to be able to study at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan. While I am there, I hope to be able to share with all of you my year-long Japanland adventure! As I said, I'm also starting my 3rd year of Japanese language study, so if you have any nihongo questions, I'll try to be of some help!

Currently, I'm aspiring towards writing about Japan and Japanese pop-culture, as well as all surrounding and relevant topics. While in Japan, I'm hoping to have an internship with a Japanese indie-game publisher, and would love to work on localization and editing out of college.
