I never heard of it until I started seeing that ad for Torchlight 2 on the Steam main page.

I bought it just to see if I'd like the dungeon crawler genre, it came with the first game and it's pretty fun.

I love my pet so much, so much remedial "go back to town" shit is removed thanks to that fuzzy bastard. I just have to go in and kill shit.

Torchlight 1 was pretty fun, but it got old fast for me, didnt even finished the story.

Yeah, I have it set to required for every login. A bit tedious having to check my phone every time I want to log on but I'll live with it.
