Before there was really no organised PvP, people would just activate it and kill other players ( yay ganking )
Now there's Arenas, if i recall correctly the PvP isn't fully emplemented yet because of balancing issues, but i don't plan on playing PvP either.

I'm waiting for Torchlight II.

1. I don't have the money right now to buy a lot of extra things,
2. I haven't played the other games so I feel like continuity would be lost (yes I know I can get them for dirt cheap, I just don't feel like it right now).

So after a couple days of not playing, I log on yesterday only to find out that my account got hacked. My Demon Hunter was missing all equipment, all my gold was gone, and half my stash was gone. First thing I did was change my password and get an authenticator for my account. I filed a support ticket and luckily I was able to get everything restored.

That didn't take long. But it's good that you got it resolved without issue.

I'm still on the fence about getting it myself. I've never been a fan of top down dungeon crawlers.
