I just realized the damned game and reading backlog university has caused. I have so much stuff to get back into when I go home tomorrow.
Well it's all over now anyway. Handed in my last piece of work. Now to wait around a month to see how well/badly I did. If I get an overal 2:1 I'll be ecstatic.

Oddly, 40% is the pass mark in UK universities (as far as I know) with the increment obviously going up in tens from there. So a first is 70% and above, but that requires a LOT of work and it's rare to see undergrads going into the seventies, let alone the eighties or above.
Then again, that's as far as I am aware. I've spoken to people from other universities and they have similar (if not the same) grading system.

ah well over here youre basically a genius or hard worker at 90% and above, 80% is trying hard enough 70% are people who dont give a shit or dont possess the mental capacity to comprehend the material, anyone under that is special....or again dont give a fuck these are advanced classes btw cause freshmen level courses are easy as shit lol

That bit me in the ass in the second year. I applied to same level of work to the second year as I did in the first and my grades were...lower, to say the least. I put my all into year 3 though, so I'm hoping for that second place.

My God... Binary Domain was awesome.
I haven't enjoyed a game like this in a long time, the only average thing going for it is the controls, that you get used to after the epilogue.
And since they leave it open for a part two im gonna buy it as soon as i get some extra money.
