Summary:
Jin is a strange kid with an angel mark on his hand. He lives a poor but peaceful life with his grandfather, along with the other destitute and abandoned vagabonds near the river. One day, his peaceful life changes when a strange monster named "player" appears, chopping off heads and killing everyone who appears in front of it.

Only one episode has been out seems ok to me. You can find it on hulu. Though I don't have great hopes for it. The character designs seem familiar to me though I don't know what anime it reminds me of. I'm going to try to stick with it though because the box art seems to foreshadow something interesting.

I'm surprised more people here don't read manga. Zetman manga scanlations have been around since 2004, and the series is damn good.

I don't know what they plan to do with this series with only 13 episodes currently planned and no word of a second season. The manga is currently 17 volumes and ongoing, so this is either going to have a non-conclusive ending or they're going to completely deviate from the manga and just do their own thing with the story.

I read a lot of comments saying it cut out a lot from the manga. Most likely cause they're trying to squeeze everything into these 13 episodes.

Why the hell does everyone cut down on the amount of episodes now-a-days?

Never read the manga, nor head of the show. The picture looks alright Kinda like a... Darker version of Karas

Kinda dissapointing that its only going to be 13 episodes... Hate these short series, what happaned to the classic 26!

Why is everyones frontlip sticking out so much... its making everyone look SUPER DUPER SERIOUS

Either way. I'm glad it took a bit of a turn around. with the 2 years later thing. The series felt a little messy and boring before it.
