I didn't "let him die". It's Jack's fault because she got so bitchy at me when I chose Miranda's side in the fight they had.

I don't remember the specifics but it was easy for me to ensure that absolutely everyone who could survive survived, so yes, you let him die.

The way he died is even worse. He got taken by those little bugs when someone with biotic powers is supposed to keep them away with a shield. Jack fucked up near the end but instead of her dying Garrus got taken.

I was always just barely short on Paragon to get the good response for that so neither of them get pissed for no reason.

Even when I took Jacks side I let Samara do that part anyway since she'd probably be more experienced even though Jack would have more raw power.
