It's not the same, SH2 just has sharper fog and shit.

The Essential Collection did, but that was only a re-packaging of the original titles. They were unaltered.

The HD Collection has the DC versions of SoL and SE, as well as an enhanced port of PW. The first MGS isn't in the HD collection.

I just beat .hack GU vol.1. That was massively ugly, for some reason the boss fights lag on PC, but the rest of the game plays great. I was fighting Kite, which you should know was a big deal for me since Kite is my all time favorite game character, and I was playing the fight at HALF the actual speed, and then I had to press the turbo button to speed the frames up to be playable, but then sometimes it was too fast and I missed a cutscene because of it...The thing about emulating ps2 games, is that when a game is poorly optimized, you don't lose frames, the game literally slows down, the whole fucking game engine, sound, everything. It was horrible.
