I got the game last night, and damn is it good. Shazbot! need time to practice to get better, but I can lead targets fairly well. My favorite class right now is Pathfinder for some reason. I think it has to do with the laser disk weapon. Shazbot!

I'll download it when I get the chance. I remember I was a god in Tribes: Vengeance. Shooting disk ftw.

It is all class based now, so no picking up different weapons. At least in Team Death Match there isn't. I haven't played the other modes yet, but I will eventually

There's slight variations of what weapons you can use I believe.

I think most classes can choose between 3 or so weapons among other things.

Haven't played in a while though.

Each class has a primary and secondary weapon, with at least two weapons in each category. I need to play more to get more xp. The game is just too fun.

I had more than enough XP from the closed beta to get some new stuff.

I just buffed Soldier and Pathfinder to hell.

Lol, nice. I haven't played it in like a week. Been busy with other stuff.

I played three hours last night and only raised my level up one... and I got a headache out of it too.

The game has officially been released, so go out and download it (providing you have windows). No quarter will be given this day.

So who plays this. I play roughly 2-3 hours a night. I play CTF cause that is way more fun than deathmatch. I run TCN mostly but will switch to Soldier if I feel like it. I hope there is an update for TCN soon so I can get all that stuff.

My interest in this game is an on/off thing for some reason.

I love the mechanics and gunplay and everything but I think I'm getting the same issue as Bio where I hate CTF

CTF or Capture and hold are the best gamemodes. Senseless shooting until you win is no fun whatsoever.

I only played TDM with Luftkiin a couple of times and never tried Capture and Hold yet.

I'll give it a chance but I can never shake whatever I dislike about CTF sso much in games.

I don't like Capture and hold. Not entirely sure why, but I don't. Also the new CTF map is weird to play on with TCN.

Yeah well TCN can go decently fast. Much faster than any heavy class. I have taken out many heavy players with just my riffle and grenades in the open field.

I'm well aware of this as I mained technician. Primarily for flag chasing and vehicle perks, though. The smg is a powerful gun when you aim.

How many people play Capture and Hold? One of the reasons I like it more than CTF is because it's easier to get in to the narrative. Capturing an enemy's base to gain access to a certain region of the continent makes sense. Fighting over control of a mine because you need its resources makes sense. Fighting over a flag just for the hell of it doesn't. I have the same issue with Rush in BF3. What are the MCOMs and why are we fighting over them?
