I had the same experience.

I watched the whole first episode and then I stopped.

2nd season was pointless as hell.

I just watched for Mio.

Even the music sucked compared to 1st season.

I've asked about it before, and the only thing anybody ever says in response is "lol gotta go fast". So i'm not sure the "source material" has much depth to speak of.

Ah, I thought I posted about it before, guess I as mistaken.

It's from a PC game called Tribes: Ascend, where a good portion of the gameplay revolves around using "skis" and a jetpack together to move through the map without being slowed down by friction or uphill climbs, ie (GOTTA GO FAST!)

And it always causes some funny moments, like a single enemy flying by and taking your teams flag at 180MPH and watching as the entire team panics and starts chasing after them in a frenzy, or a light armored scout getting hit by an enemy base turret because "YOU WERE TOO SLOW!".

Could like, you know, play the game.

That was simpler than what I was hoping for. I know the game is fast paced, but I don't find that funny.

Same here too. I can't even remember why I was even watching the series in the first place. The first episode of Angel Beats had more music than the entire season of K-ON

If people play the game and still don't get it im afraid they might be dumb as hell :\

I enjoyed K-On!, but K-On!! was just too much nothing, and too little music.
