Online portion is pay to win and they forcefully take your offline single player resources and put it online only. Or something along those lines.

Haven't touched the game in a while cause Quiet wont shut the fuck up.

I haven't even noticed the Online portion other than using the free FOB to back up my mother base. And really the actual online portion will be MGO, shame we PC master race people need to wait longer for that.

If Quiet not being quiet bothers you that much then use D-Dog.

Isnt FOB a separate online part? I think that's where the pay to win happens.

The FOB is where the invasion online aspect comes into play, but I don't think mine has ever been invaded, and I've never invaded anyone else's.

You can also use the FOB offline like a separate Motherbase in singleplayer, it gives you more slots for staff and you upgrade platforms in the same way, it generates resources, lets you level up R&D, intel, and all that shit.

Also you get two extra combat teams to deploy on missions at a time.

The online/invasion element is obviously pay to win, but I don't care about it in the first place so it's not a big issue for me. I guess if it's tied in with MGO in some way I'm not yet aware of then it'll end up pissing me off.
