Let me try. There is about a zero percent chance of these new episodes accurately recapturing what made the show great in the first place, made doubly problematic becaue it had a decided "je ne sais quoi" air about it. The most important aspect of this is that it's been 25 years. The creative process is going to be entirely different. It's doubtful that any of Lynch's ideas about the show have survived intact for this long. Everyone involved is going to be older and no matter how much they loved being a part of the show, you can't help but think something was lost in this time frame. It's an admirable effort, but it's just not going to be the same.
