I have it but only for school work and actual work. My "for fun" PSDs were just lingering around my hard drive with no backup. :S

I needed a new laptop for school anyways. I would have bought one sooner or later. Now I'm saving up for a camera and a pen tablet.

I think Zuly's in an art school, and from what i've heard from one of my friends in art school, some art programs can be a little fanboyish about apple products.

I was tired of having to deal with two operating systems on a daily basis. If you're a graphic design student, at my school, you only work with Apple hardware/software.

I plan on bootcamping mine, but for now, I have no reason to. I like OS X Lion anyway.

Here, the students either go Macbook or Asus depending on the art field.

The hardware. Furthermore, they seem to offer more bang for your buck and most importantly, they have great screens. As an art student, having a good display is a must.
