Synopsis:The suspense horror/dark fantasy story is set in Tokyo, which is haunted by mysterious "ghouls" who are devouring humans. People are gripped by the fear of these ghouls whose identities are masked in mystery. An ordinary college student named Kaneki encounters Rize, a girl who is an avid reader like him, at the café he frequents. Little does he realize that his fate will change overnight.

first impressions: Its interesting so far, i wonder if main dude gets powers or if hes gonna be a scrub cause hes half human, other than that the only thing im gonna have to complain about is the censoring RANDOM BLACK SCREEN fuuuuuuu, too bad theres no uncensored broadcasts

i like the censors because like in porn or hentai more often than not the gore depicted is disappointing in its details.

Watched the first episode and really liked it. Were there any censors in it, though? Or are you guys talking about the second episode?

in the first ep they censored when rize was eating those people in the building, and then they used censors when MC dude found the ghoul eating a body in the alley way

thats stupid id prefer to have 98% of my screen back to normal than having it blacked out, the colors were inverted too, im pretty sure they censored it cause the details were "realistic" and not disappointing

Eh, it's alright cos I'm loving this show. Just watched the second episode, and I'm really interested in how the Ghouls operate; they have their own rules, beliefs, and morality. And Hide really is a pretty cool guy. It doesn't look like he gives a shit that Kaneki's a Ghoul. And them Rize powers tho...good god.

edit: plastic tic tacs guy performing the OP is pretty awesome too.

well whatever your point is, its probably shit
but i highly fucking doubt that the animation/art would be bad for the gore in something that has it as a theme, regardless its better than black screen of death and inversed colors
