[Anime] Blade and Soul (mmo "plots" anime adaptation) [finished]

Alka is an assassin for the Clan of the Sword. She's on a journey to find the woman Jin Valel, who killed her master Hon. Jin is a demon-like woman who controls the Energy of Chaos and kills without feeling - not unlike how Alka has learned to kill in her work as an assassin. On her journey, Alka encounters three strange women, each great warriors in their own right, and grapples with her slain master's wish that she leave the life of an assassin behind.






first impression: first thing you think of from a korean mmo anime adaptation is, how much skin are they gonna be showing? but not this time, i dont think this is gonna be one of those queens blade ikkitousen BS, but its only the first episode, but what ive seen so far, is that theres action, theres blood.....theres tons of death, and the main character is kuudere badass

So hawt.

think we have to treat this with the mmo "quest line" mentality in that the story changes to a new quest each episode..... for instance at the end of ep 2, that was some pvp right thur

That's the problem Miku. You can forgive the low quality and sloppiness on many aspects when a show focuses on something very specific like Queen's Blade, the complete opposite of this crap which is bad on every level with no redeeming qualities whatsoever   .

that episode 5 sucked..... alka has got to be the worst player ever, always failing her side quests

she killed the dog! wtf, bitch has to die now!   

dont watch this expecting queens blade, story was meh, character development was virtually non existent until the final 3 episodes, the art and action was the only thing decent

well what can you say, it had potential but they dropped the ball
