Please, they are just saying it's alpha so they can pull "but it's not finished yet, it won't look like this when the game is done we promise it will be better" excuse.

And the game is using the Assassins Creed/Arkham City counter system. So yes it is easy

Until the game comes out it's unfinished.

They don't just make a game and sit on it for months until they feel like releasing it.

Actually they kind of do. There is a period of a game development where the product is mostly done. I think it's during that period the console owners try out the game

or a small build of the game is done like vertical slice of the full game to show

Maaan Space Dandy is real good. Might be liking it abit more than Kill La Kill, when I was this many episodes into that.

Thing is I know when Space Dandy has those rare serious moments its gonna hit hard, it being so heavily comedy orientated.

There's a period after they get all the assets into the game then move into optimization and testing. This is about 3 months before the game goes gold and is moved into production. There's no cooldown in game development.

There's really no way to restructure it.

Of course you're going to have major publishers pushing out games before they're done (Battlefield 4) but developers are essentially trying to hit a moving target. If they spend too much time on a single game they risk going over budget, potentially bankrupting themselves if they don't have a major publisher backing them. Also risk making themselves outdated compared to their competition. If they spend too long they may even miss entire console gens like Final Fantasy 15 and The Last Guardian.

Developers have to aim for a fine line between rushed and taking too long and release a game when it's "good enough".

They also have to balance the budget. You are not going to get bankrupted because your project is delayed. If that was the case that butter maker in Norway would have gone out of business 3 years.

Say did anyone ever get the impression that Red Hot Chili Peppers were gay? It seems that most of their videos has them topless and showing off their fit bodies

Not really. Most outdoor concerts are in the summer and indoor concerts are always fucking hot.

You have thousands of people huddled up close, jumping and moving around in a confined space and it get's really hot really quick.
