What's the word I'm looking for...it's very glossy, too glossy in fact. I'm slowly getting over it but its like watching One Piece for the first time.

It's more then that, for example look at the legs of Sailor Mars after her transformation. It's like a giraffe

Very true....however the only point I'll say to that is it looks more like the designs of the manga for better or worse. I'll get over it eventually but yeah its very jarring.
