yep
if it gets a good discount on christmas i'll probably get it, game is pretty awesome

You can see in the update to that article that he was apparently talking about during development and taken out of context.

Most important though is the article it links talking about the port that I read last night.

It calls the port a mess and talks about how there's a tiny ffps difference between performance on a dualicore and a quad core.

But it also says this

"As usual, we used an overclocked Q9650 (4.2Ghz) with 4GB RAM, an Nvidia GTX690, the latest version of the GeForce ForceWare drivers and Windows 7-64bit. Before continuing, let us tell you that the aforementioned system – despite the awful port that Ubisoft offered us – runs the game better than PS4 and Xbox One. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag ran with 30-60fps with max settings at 1080p on our test system. The game, on the other hand, runs with a 30fps lock on next-gen consoles (and looks inferior due to its lower AA settings). Obviously, our old Q9650 is able to run the game better than next-gen consoles, so keep in that in mind while reading the rest of our article."

So this "mess" of a port can still run and look better than the "next gen" console versions with hardware less powerful than my own.

All I need to know.

I think the only problem is that it doesn't take advantage of high end rigs.
As far as low end rigs goes it performs great, i'm prof of that.

Also i think i have seen Nvidia people complaining wich is odd because the game has Nvidia logo on it, meaning Nvidia would have the game before launch to prep drivers, unlike AMD.

well season 4 is next year and they are still on book 3 out of 7 plus 2 books are still being written

But presumably, I will have to wait until it has finished airing for someone else to upload it, and then I'll have to download that (which will also take a while.)
