And actually did watch it but its been over twenty years sense i saw it so i don't remember anything about it besides the face that it was a drama with a dark twist.

The show was weird, but it was excellent and had some funny moments. Especially when David Lynch appears as Gordon Cole.

I just watched it recently myself. It had a unique, dream-like quality about it. Not everything was great, not everything worked and it started its decline once the big reveal happened. They had nowhere to go so they had to make stuff up, even more so than before. If you're thinking about watching the movie, it's a waste of time.

To be honest, parts of Twin Peaks tends to be boring, but maybe that's because I went through a non-stop marathon of watching each episode. I might look into the movie one of these days.

Also, DO NOT WATCH DUNE. It's horrible, but I do want to read the book.

From what I understand the Dune movie followed the books pretty well. They just had to cut a lot of content because the books are massive.

The structure of the film is a mess, the voice-over narration conflicts with the plot progression (Hurry up already!), the special effects are cheesy and laughable(At least I can stomach it), and it's very boring not to mention confusing. The beginning of the film had an introduction which explained the back story the dune universe (Again, unnecessary. I want to see it for myself rather than having someone explain it).

Universal Pictures fucked Lynch over by not giving him the artistic control he needed to make this film. Plus, he never read the book or had any interest in science fiction. As a result, He refuses to talk about the film and replace his name in the credits with Alan Smithee.

I stopped watching the film around 35-40 minutes because it was not as exciting as it sounds. It looked like it had potential, but it bombed. To be fair, the costumes, setting and its overall aesthetics/atmosphere are Excellent.
