I've heard it's adapting the Heaven's Feel route, so it's not really a remake as such.

But if it were, the reasoning would be simple, DEEN did a subpar adaptation, and Fate sells well.

Why does it say remake? I'm pretty sure there is no fate/stay anime that came out in 2006 that was produced by a quality studio.

It's the route that carries most of the threads from Fate Zero over.

Should probably be okay to watch without seeing DEEN's F/SN.

Actually, maybe not.. Ideally you'd read the VN, but that's very time consuming so maybe watch the show and the UBW movie.

Nobel loves them and we all know how stellar his taste is.
