The best part is counting how many games you bought at the end of the sale. The more games you won't ever play that you have, you win. I played that with my friend during the winter sale and my friend beat me by 25 games...

My friends mentality when purchasing during a steam sale is not "Will I play this game? no. Then I won't buy it." instead his mentality is "I don't care when or if I play this, when will the price be this cheap again?"
