Anime Vs. Real Life

I've said it once(first time on this site) and I'll say it again, real life and animation keeps getting weirder and weirder as time passes. Not to the point madness, at least not me not sure about anyone else though.

There is a certain threshold that some people, forget who, that will deem artificially created human images too realistic, to the point that it will scare people. I think it's the uncanny valley or something... but yeah, be prepared to be creeped out.

This is a bit off topic but there was one thing that kinda got me. Remember when those Furby toys originally came out in the 90's and how they were suppose to be capable of learning new things? Those things were creepy to start out with anyway and my bro got one of those things for Christmas. Our mom already didn't want to get one in the first place saying that one day someone will make something that will become self-aware and take over eventually. I already didn't like the thing and plus I've seen both Terminator movies (years before this) at the time I kinda took that to heart.

One day I was laying down, that thing was staring at me with it's creepy stare and when I started to get up it went into sleep mode. Went back to lay down again it opened it's eyes again staring at me and rinse and repeat again. After the third time of that, I got up and went right next to that thing and soon as it opened it's eyes I smashed it with a bat and tossed it in a dumpster. Yeah that was a bit overkill but that thing was the 2nd of 3 things that have ever creep me out in my lifetime even though I do know now that they weren't what I thought they were at the time.
