he's hard, in more ways than one. and he kills bad terrorists and stuff

he'll protect you in a couple of scripted moments and you'll feel a real bond between you two

and then we kill him off near the end to try and get an emotional response out of the player

I remember when I first read about dog companions in a videogame in a Game Informer article about "Dead to Rights 2"
