Just watched episode 3, yeah I can see why. Pretty much she went Gurren Lagann on them. Which means on the Gainax scale she still has three more levels of superior GAR and awesomeness to achieve (Gurren Lagann mech had 4 levels of epic GAR for those who don't get it.)

Episode 4 seemed like it was a more "average" episode. (Instead of getting exponentially more ridiculous and over-the-top every single episode. Great episode.
