I haven't watched or read Claymore, so I don't know what theoretically went wrong.

I have watched Bleach and Soul Eater, though... and the fucking filler shit, and the unnecessary waits, and the forced anime series endings are not my cup of tea.
I mean... I can't influence the last thing... but at least by waiting before I watch an anime, I can avoid the first two.
