Yes, he does. You can hear the other classmates murmuring when he opens his mouth and they are also not interested in what he says. I take class with that professor every day, I am sure he's going to ask me about it tomorrow because I was visibly upset and smacked open the door. I made a scene about it because it was no longer just bothering me — it was pissing me off.

Definitely talk to the prof as a first approach then. I currently have a similar situation with one of my classes this semester. Fortunately it's only once a week, but even so it pisses me off because we lag behind and then have to rush at the end just because that one person couldn't keep their mouth shut.

If it's visibly bothering others and not just yourself I'd talk to the prof asap.

i fukin hate that, when you have to rush everything just cause the class was behind whether it be the teacher's fault or the students, it definitely sucks

I can safely say I've had it occur most semesters. 2nd semester one of my profs was just plain abysmal with time schedule. 4th and 5th semesters I had one person (the same one unfortunately) in two of my main courses whom used to ask way too many obvious questions. Though I think this semester (for stupid students) has them all beat. There is this one chick who asks numerous questions that don't ever benefit or relate to anything we even need to know material-wise. My friend and I just look at each other and shake our heads whenever she asks something so stupid.

I honestly wonder how people who ask such retarded questions make it so far in the program.

I don't even mind him participating, it's the propaganda bullshit that annoys me. Today he started talking about socialism and everyone started laughing because they knew where he was going with it. I took history with him and he wasn't like that at all in that class. He doesn't even come with a notebook; he shows up to class with just an iPhone and a stunk of marihuana.

This again amazes me, how does one like that even get that far in the program? I don't even want to conclude that someone like that is a "natural genius" they sure don't strike me as one. He sounds somewhat arrogant in trying to prove what he believes is the pinnacle of beliefs and that he knows all. Bullshit.

lol have you ever had a girl cry and run out of class? had one of those in one of my humanities classes, she insists the professor is putting her on the spot and embarrassing her, the teacher told the girl that was sitting next to the girl that ran out "can you explain to your friend-" and before he could finish, the girl said "shes not my friend" i felt bad in a way but i was mostly laughing on the inside
