That can be changed. It sounds to me it's either one of these two possibilities; 1) You really just hate it. 2) You're not used to it and it makes you somewhat uncomfortable, but would probably be willing to accept it if you were more exposed to such situations.

If not either of those then maybe you just have self pity. It sounds blunt but I know some like that.

Quite a few of mine are either already or are in the process of getting engaged/married as well. I guess it mostly doesn't bother me, though I do sometimes feel out of place. Oh well, it's not my priority.
