New PS3?

So I've been playing GT5 nonstop for a while and I'm finally getting around to running through its campaign. I tried to play on a work break and what happens? Freezes at startup, every time. I managed to make TWO backups of GT5 and my other games because I know this is it. Now it's slooooowwww and my GT5 graphics are glitching on replays (cars driving on thin air). So should I get a new PS3? What else can I do?

that's strange, have you tried a hard reset?

Formatting it seems to have worked, but I think it's only a matter of time until my ps3 takes a dirt nap. Thanks.

dust it! get a can of CO2 and spray it out

Or a vacuum with a strong hose suction.

that or change the HDD. i m not trusty around them as they might be mess sturdy(toshiba) than a wd.
