Anime Faction Fighting Game League Aofc_zps94067760

Introducing my 2nd AF community project.

Similar to what Japanese players do with the TOPANGA league, I want to start a fighting game league for AFO.

the League is not a one time tournament, it will be an ongoing process where we will host monthly tournaments based on ranking points earned from friendly play.

Super street fighter 4: Arcade Edition
Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3
Tekken Tag Tournament 2

other potential games:
King of Fighters 13
Street Figher x Tekken
Persona 4A
Skullgirls
Soul Caliber 5

Ranking process

When fellow AF members play matches, they may declare some of the matches towards the AOFGL rankings. Both participants must state what games they played, and the results of said ranking matches.

example:
Win = 3 points
Lose = 1 points

Points will be accumulated in a months (or how long people want this to go for) and a ranking list will be formed FOR THAT GAME as well as a overall ranking.

Rankings will decide the seed/spot the person will be at during the monthly tournament.

example: if 4 people are in the league, the first two people will be in the winner's bracket, and the bottom two people will be in the loser's bracket. the winner's of each bracket then face each other where the winner of loser's bracket must win 2 sets of 3 round games (or w/e setting the game has) to win the tournament.

doesn't matter which platform, it will matter when it comes to the tournament, but for ranking matches wise, play on whichever platform you want.

cause I'm sick of buying same games that only change like a few characters and not allow you to play with previous iteration versions.

that shit is frustrating.

at least street fighter let you play super sf4 vs AE people.

marvel = nope, buy ultimate
