With manga its a bit easier though, as Kodomo no Jikan is the only manga of that "sort" in my top 5.

well you dont have to read or watch berserk, just tell them that, just say its a story about some bad ass mother fucker i doubt they will search for it anyway

i remember in my history class last semester, we were introducing ourselves and with the introduction we were suppose say what our major was and who we looked up to, one guy said he looked up to Satoshi Kon and the teacher was like "who is that?" and the kid said he did movies like paprika and paranoia agent, so me and my friend sort of snickered, we never seen the kid again....i kina feel bad haha

But at the same time, you realize that if you made the changes you desired, the world would be a completely different place. You must accept the fact that Yu gi oh! once a great up and coming comic book style hero was transformed into a mainstream pussy, however this change brought about the most significant tcg ever. Being me is living in a paradox.
