Your series that still do not have an ending, a follow up while the manga has at least one more season worth of stuff etc....
the cancellations like as many dead stars in the night, the open ended season endings while there is still content out there in manga or book form and still no sign of a new season or movies.....
animes you wish to hear the 'RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!!' for. because there is still content that sits there.

karekano. number two of my fav animes. there is enough for another 26 eps season.

Strike witches doesn't use a original source, but I'd be okay with a few more seasons(preferably the 24-26 episode p/season kind)

As far as manga/LN-based anime go :

Gunslinger girl, assuming madhouse animates it again. Not fricking artland. But they have got enough material for like 70+ episode(madhouse turned 11 chapters into 13 episodes). I really think they should animate the whole manga once it done(and I think its obvious when it'll end)

But GSG just works better in anime work, for its emotional/action parts.

Kodomo no jikan, still has plenty of material for 2 24-episode seasons, and even more when the manga ends.
The story itself wouldn't really become better in anime form, but it'll be cuter.

3x3 Eyes is better off not getting an adaptation these days, the quality wouldn't be the same as the glorious OVAs.

I agree with 12 kingdoms, Rave Master. I've read Kekkaishi, but haven't seen the anime. At what arc or scene does the anime end?

I've read a bit of Flame of Recca but I have not finished are you implying the manga became terrible?. As for Kekkaishi I think the anime ended around Volume 13 of the manga.

Outlaw Star. The ending was just too short, and there were more assassins to dispose of. Oh, and there was too much of the show's universe left unexplained.

That cowboy bebop Live action was going be years after the anime, but I don't even know the movies coming out.

i didn't know for the ln! te thing is to me the ending is satisfactory and doesn't need the risk oatng te original series with a new lame one. buthats jus me. juuni kokki toug ends abruptly, karekano too(gainax got upset with the author)

Nope! Back when i was watching the series i wasn't really into reading manga, and especially after watching a show, and then being forced to switch to reading. So no, i never read the manga. Why? Is it bad?

While i'd love to see more of cowboy bebop, i kinda prefer the way they ended it. Spike's gone and went out with a bang. Bringing out something new that takes place after season 1 with the same cast would tarnish that ending. A movie would be great though, something inbetween. Knocking on heaven's door was amazing
