Well i loved it. Well on the surface it might seem like its just for teenagers but i think there is a lot more to it than that. For one thing we see the poor working for the rich with the rich being oblivious to the suffering of the Poor. Or that President Snow is more of a dictator then a president. Oh and that if the tributes put on a good show they will get sponsors to give them stuff in the arena.

Come on guys you really should read the books, i know you guys would love it.

I saw the Hunger Games and loved it. Makes me wanna read the books. I actually never really heard of Hunger Games until two weeks before it came out in theatres and even then I still didn't know what it was. Thought it was some more Twilight bullshit, it proved me wrong in the best way ever.

it looks like an easy read, though. The font is casual-friendly, and the 1st book has like around 380(?) or so pages.

Yeah is a preety easy read, and the font is easy to read.

Well the united states is now known as Panem am with 12 different districts and there (later in the series it describes why the united states has know become half the size of what it used to be. Basicly global warming flooded most of the cost and WW3 or something ) was a rebellion but it was put down 75 years ago. And because of this President show made a treaty with the districts that once a year a boy and girl from the ages of (12-18) from each district would be chosen (the reaping) to participate in "the Hunger games" Where the last one standing is the winner and gets fame and fortune.

So yeah kind of like Survivor but you have to kill each other in order to win.

Best movie I've seen all year. Not saying much, but still, in comparison to most movies, it's one of the best. Shit was so good, it got me to read ALL three books right after I saw it.

Can't wait for part two next year.

Check this. So the truth is last wednesday, I was finally eliminated in an ongoing karaoke contest, because I tried to sing the Beatles, which I don't know so I failed. I was shortly after invited to a new karaoke bar and everyone there, I mean EVERYONE is an amazing singer. But then they called me up, and the DJ gave me a nickname, I've never had a nickname before. I'm now the Black Knight of Karaoke, Dangerous Danny Davis. And boy did I earn that title, I opened with Guns n' Roses and and nearly blew everyone's eardrums out, including my own. Then I performed Don't Stop Believin, more somber, but still fantastic. Just goes to show, just because I got dropped from the contest don't mean shit. I mean the BLACK KNIGHT OF KARAOKE? CMON HELL YEAH I AM!
