Okay, after watching the other possible endings I feel really cheated now. All endings are basically the same and also don't explain shit.

I never finished Human Revolution.

But Mass Effect 3 is the conclusion of a trilogy in which you were supposed to be shaping the game the whole time through your cumulative decisions, Human Revolution was a prequel.

So no, not better than Deus Ex, I wouldn't have even really expected any significant choice in Human Revolution's ending, the circumstances of the game that takes place after it were already pre-established so you probably got more choice than would really have made sense.
