The anime itself is pretty entretaining, however I cant understand why people consider this a horror anime, its not scary at all.

Also its a shame what happend with the nurse.

I think its more of a suspense than horror.

Also, absolutely loving this series. I love dark, serious shows.

Possible spoilers ahead (my theory). I think the latest episode really built up a lot of evidence that Mei is the extra. The extra is someone that previously died and was temporarily brought back to life by the curse of class 3, and they have no recollection of being dead. Izumi theorized that Kouichi was the extra, saying that his mom died while she was pregnant with him (so he died) and that 15 years later he comes back as the extra, but she quickly dismissed that theory. However, that theory can similarly be applied to Mei. Mei's mother had a miscarriage. Her mother modeled that doll "after the daughter that never had a chance to live," and that doll looks exactly like Mei. Mei even has one of the eyes from that doll. She also said that her mom makes her carry a cell phone because otherwise she feels uneasy. I think her mom has a subconscious fear that Mei might disappear, because she's not actually alive. Also, Mei has no personality. She doesn't laugh, cry, get angry or sad. How can someone that died in the womb, and then is brought back to life 15 years later have any time to develop a personality? Then at the end of the episode, she seems sure that Kouichi is not the extra. Maybe she knows she is?

... or that's what I thought, but in writing this I skimmed through episode 6 and after Kouichi asked why she wrote "Who is dead?" on her desk, she responded:
"I know that I'm not dead, so I wanted to ask who is."
However, when she was asked how she knows she's not dead, she was interrupted by her mom walking in the room. So maybe she only thinks she's not dead.

Anyway, that's just stuff I've been thinking as I'm watching this. So far, this definitely goes in my top five favorite horror anime.

holy crap! so i just picked this up randomly without reading anything any of you guys said, and holy crap this show is great! haha...

im glad i decided to watch it on a whim today :) now i want moooore!

oh, and i feel like the way he may have stopped it was by perhaps murdering someone?
