There's no investigation unless they want one and the captain wants Nagate in every battle.

Since Nagate never accused Kunato of any wrongdoing there's no reason for an investigation in the first place and once again, Kunato almost certainly made it so that there was no record for an investigation to find anyway.

Second season....I can only hope. If not then its been a pretty successful 12 episode advertisement for the manga for me. On a side not Tahiro is hot.

i find that the enhancements in that dept. are not beath taking, specially after 15 yrs but some shots look so good it might be interesting in 5 yrs.

But this anime is nothing special when it comes to identical faces, 80% of every season's shows has carbon copy faces with different hair styles and convenient colour-coded eyes/hair.

You're being retarded if you're gonna blame identical faces for you not being able to differentiate the three girls named above.

The reasons you didn't know their names are that you likely forgot about the "Lala" scenes. Sasaki was just introduced by name so it's easy to have it not stick right away, and Tahiro's an irrelevant shit. I've read the Manga and I had to look up the name to see who Ghostcell was talking about, not because she's not distinct from the other characters visually, but because I don't care enough about her to remember her name.

It's a good enough use of 3DCG that I'll be a little less knee-jerky to the prospect of full 3DCG in TV series in the future, but I'll always opt for 2D character animation.

That said, what we have here with character animation is still way better than low budget poorly animated 2D animu.
