The only thing I'd suggest is that you pick up a Western Digital HDD to replace the Seagate. I don't even want to start talking about how terrible they are.

Are seagate internals shit too?

Thought that might just be externals.

I still have my WD 2TB and 1TB externals, though only about 80 gb left on the 2TB.

Oh no. I think internal failure rates are higher. (not sure because Seagate does their absolute best to keep a lid on that. lol)

it was dropped and has physical dents and still works well
