Feed the beast is an ultra version of minecraft with over 50 mod packs added to it to give it a depth never seen before in minecraft.


IP: 198.245.71.26:25604

Download FTB here: http://feed-the-beast.com/#download_wrapper
-Download the Client .exe
-Once downloaded, install FTB and then launch it
-Create your profile (using your minecraft login details)
-Select Feed the Beast Unleashed Pack on the left
-Once FTB launches, select multiplayer, then add server, and type in this IP: 198.245.71.26:25604

-The server has a whitelist so only people who post their minecraft usernames after March 29th will be allowed in.

IF YOU HAVE 64 BIT WINDOWS BE SURE TO DOWNLOAD 64 BIT JAVA FIRST!

What does tekkit have that the vanilla MC doesn't?

BTW: you still playing? I'm feeling nostalgic and if the server has enough people that are willing to be nice and give me things because i don't really wanna start over again, that would be top notch.

Tekkit adds a bunch of complicated stuff that i will never use ever.
Adds new armors, pipes, teleporters , EMC exchange , Shields , etc.

I wouldn't mind dropping by, but i'll probably just build a dirt house

tekkit adds, industrial machines (anything from automatic quarries to nuclear reactors), alchemy (equivalent exchange, or changing one matter into another), volcanoes, oil wells, railcraft (rails that can do things like launch cars through the air, automatically unload its contents into a chest, etc). It literally makes thousands of new blocks to mess with. I have no problem showing you the ropes to it if you want.

I'm currently building a huge dual reactor nuclear power plant.

I tried to join but it said i needed a bunch of mods.
I simply installed tekkit and ran it.

i gave up

I only have plain tekkit running...

Are you sure you selected tekkit SMP in the top left menu when you launched it?

What version of Minecraft does it use? What about the new ones that are still in beta mode, when a official update of the game pop-ups, how long does it take for the mod/server to update?

I don't know, like 1.3 I think. Tekkit is a collection of mods so each individual one needs to be updated before the full tekkit gets updated. the lag is several months behind the actual game.

OOOOHHHH YEAAAAAH, the mountain base haaaas started.
Miku, my brother, and I always make our first base inside of a mountain. xD

There's a cave system we had to seal off because it was too darn large D:
Will explore it for goodies laaaater. xD
