http://www.amiami.com/ -probably the best site to buy pvc figures from. Has a great pre-owned section. JP based.

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/ -another great site, prices are about the same as amiami and the shipping can be even faster. JP based.

http://www.hlj.com/ -Many great sales here, more focus on hobby models and etc in addition to anime figures. JP based.

http://www.e2046.com/ -My top site to buy resin kits from. Shipping is a bit expensive and normal PVC figures are overpriced

http://www.tokyo-hunter.com/ -can often have things that are out of stock elsewhere. JP based.

http://www.kirinhobby.com/shop/ -great place to shop for figures that are already released. if you're in the US you'll save big on shipping cost compared to JP sites. US Based.

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/default.aspx -more focused on Western culture, but still sells anime figures, etc. Good place to buy already released figures. Save on shipping. US Based.

Wait so the JP based sites don't allow payment with US dollars correct? Or which ones accept Visa?

^ive only used amiami, that uses visa as one of the payment choices, it calculates how much its gonna cost you in US dollars along with the shipping cost then they email you to confirm the order

Oh so you can buy even if you live in the NA? Cool, I read the payment method and it said something like they only accept yen so I thought it wasn't possible. Thanks!

If you have a paypal, they auto convert it. These sites aren't gonna turn down good money simply due to conversion issues

If you have a paypal, they auto convert it. These sites aren't gonna turn down good money simply due to conversion issues

Well I have Visa, they don't auto convert that?

I don't see why not, all it really is is them using the conversion rate of Dollar to Yen to find out how much it costs and they charge you that amount.

Well I have Visa, they don't auto convert that?

They do convert. I use a visa debit card linked to my bank account. Just to let you know, the bank/visa/whatever might charge a "conversion fee". It's not much but it's still kinda stupid cause it's just a computer doing it automatically. I think the fee is like $5 or something approx.
