But in Murrica, Automatic is standard, in terms of most people driving automatic.

At least Manual tells you what's what.

I love it when I'm on the highway with someone who's never been in my car, I'll stay in two during the curve but as soon as I hit the acceleration lane I hammer it down and let it almost redline before shifting. 2fun

Maybe it's just my over confidence but I watched some videos on the basics of motorcycles. How the shifter is different from a car's, all the basic do dads like the kill switch and stuff, and the whole counter steering thing, so I'm feeling pretty confident for when I finally get on a bike for the first time.

Oh man I kinda wish I lived in Germany now

About ~$2000 gets you a seasons pass for unlimited usage of the Nüburgring Nordschleife for the year

There's still fun to be had in the states. I'm looking at visiting the Tail of the Dragon in NC. 11 miles, 318 corners.

The only track in the states I really want to drive on some day doesn't allow for usage other than official races and practices from official teams for an event on that track. That track being the Laguna Seca Raceway.

I'm talking about roads similar to the Nurburgring, not race tracks. @ xbox, They must have driving events at MRLS.

Tail of the Dragon? That's a shame, it's only a day's drive from here.
