The extensions have been great so far, they add more context to the story and the characters. Zero complaints out of me.

oh ok. I understand the flashback putting than in order and stuff.I can understand that, but lets hope the rest they keep the same.

The anime? I forsee a few options.

1. The anime continues and ends around the end of the female titan arc and is left open ended to continue down the road. (my personal choice)

2. The anime pulls a Claymore and gives it a horrible fillerish end.

3. Option 2 occurs then the anime is remade in a few years when the manga is near end (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood treatment)

They're probably gonna go for option 1 so that they could do a season 2 later. They know this is a big show.

I'd say if you're even slightly interested, read the Manga.

Little chance that you're gonna remain unspoiled throughout the Anime adaptation, and it's still enjoyable to watch having read the Manga.
