Ideas to promote traffics to the forum

Well, it's about time I have more time to get around and work with the forum. So if anyone here have any ideas or suggestions, or willing to do some affiliations, post it here. We need more people, and traffics.

Well I think it is about time we start hosting contests and games on the forums. With that we could advertise all the cool things we do and why it is different than other sites.

We raid multi-player games and show them our super saiyan swag.

Could also start by making our current community active. Which may see a small gain in activity if you make a event subforum where anyone could make unofficial group matches and other events.

We could even do something anime related.

I think I'll spend a couple hours today uploading AMVs to our YouTube channel. There's only two videos on it and we have 226 views and 3 subscribers. Imagine if I posted 20, or 30, or 50+ videos. I'll try to make sure to post at least one video a week. Consistent new content is the key to getting regular viewers / more visitors. I have info and links to our site in all the video descriptions and on our channel page.

Also, maybe someone could create an AF Facebook and/or Twitter account. If someone does, they would be in charge of updating statuses/tweeting when we have a new event, when new content is added or new threads are made (if they're good), and when new videos are posted to our YouTube channel. Once again, consistent new content is the key to getting regular viewers / more visitors.

I'll also start exploring options for the Visual Novel forums. My visual novel thread here has nearly 27,000 views, so it's a good source of traffic. I just need to figure out an easy way to keep the torrents up to date.

The text on the top that scrolls from right to left.

We could turn it into the redirection bar. Where we have all the offsite AF links stored at. Worked well enough for the steam group. Could generate more traffic to the otherwise unknown youtube page.

Unless there is a better implementation of course.

Full that is a good idea. Make sure you keep to a regular update schedule.

How many videos do you have on your HDD that members made? Bi-weekly may be better, providing there is the content.

It's actually the other way around. The YouTube page is meant to direct more traffic to our forums. I have links to our forums in all the video descriptions and on the channel page.

I have a couple AMVs that Nana made (I think both are yuri). Other than that, zero member-made videos. I even made a thread here for members to post their videos. However, I have nearly 200 AMVs that other people have made on my HDD. I've been posting those and linking to our site in the description.

Well, I was thinking if more people in our group had more activity liked/favorited. Their friends on youtube or whatever could see it and it could spread.

Full, I recommend only posting content that our members have made over the years. We want to show that we are not recycling content from the web and actually a cool place to hang out with original content.

Well, if you guys can regularly put out new content, I could do that. But I've had that youtube thread for months and not a single post has been made. At this rate we'd be lucky to put out a user-made video a month, let alone a week. So until people here make their own videos, I'll be posting other AMVs.

do we have a deviantArt group? our niche has great graphic artists and god knows a lot of people use deviantArt.

I can make the group and mod it if you will let me and link me to ur works so it'll create more traffic.

You have 473 members. I don't see why you are complaining. I've seen forums with WAY LESS members be more active. You don't need more traffic or new members. You need to keep the people that are already here active.
