[Anime] Gundam AGE

Synopsis: It has been a few hundred years since humans began to live on space colonies. In A.G. 101, an unknown enemy (UE) "GAFRAN" suddenly attacks one of the colonies "Angel". A long war against UE has begun.
In A.G 108, seven year old Flit Asuno lost his mother when UE attacked his colony "Ovan". His mother left him a memory unit "AGE" which had stored data of an ancient mobile suit Gundam. In A.G. 114, Flit completes the Gundam AGE and counterattacks against GAFRANs.



is anyone else watching this? after seeing 5 episodes, so far i am actually enjoying it. as young as the characters look, its not as corny as i was expecting. i recommend giving it a shot

if you had a choice between this and 00 which one would you choose?

cause ive been wondering if i should start this or not

ive only watched Wing and Seed...oh and parts of that one with the burning hand, can't remember....oh, just looked it up, Mobile Fighter G Gundam

its weird, the animation style makes it feel less gundam and more pokemon...its hard to describe, but so far the story and the characters are interesting. if you can get past the main characters looking like they are 10 years old, its not a bad show. im not willing to say its on par with Wing though, not even close.

well its only 5 episodes in and every episode has had some form of action...like all gundams, its hard to go one episode without at least one gundam fight

The other series weren't exactly seinen, but this looks like the target audience is specifically grade schoolers.

As is now, it's pretty interesting. But if they start abusing that "little kids becoming man in the battlefield" stuff, I'm gonna be turned off.

and I also hate Bandai as milking this series to death with model kits of the main unit which only has like one weapon.

as you said, i'm just watching it to kill time, and for a time-killer, it's not half bad.

i already seen 00 and the movie, was partially disappoint, thought i got my mech action so its all good

What are you guys on about with this show being for kids? It's heavy as fuck. Feels like a Gundam show from the get go for me.

Gotta agree with Somedude, Art style comes off a little kiddy, but the story seems to have a darker twist to it. I kind of like it, but its not something i'd wait every week for, so i'm just gonna get it when its done.
