Back around in the early 2000s, like 2002-2005

Everyone was a lot into Ganguro, god knows why.

Oh god no, looks like they just finish sitting in the sun for like at least 5 hours and then put on makeup and colors that are bipolar from their skin tone. lol

I admire their self confidence because I think in Japan they are one of the most rebel in appearance and style, because traditional Japanese perfect look requires pale, white skin, ganguro has strong suntan. Nowadays there aren't such a lot of Ganguro girls, but yeah , just like Nana said, it's art...but honestly I would not like to look like that xD I prefer pale skin and cute hime gyaru/ gal style ^^

Ganguros aren't really tanned?Isn't it just self-tanning lotion or makeup?

Your right! I prefer pale skin too.
I hate when girls with pale skin try to look too much tanned ,It's ugly!

@Daiyousei:
It's make-up too but there's a girls who have tan because they tanning.
