Sure, but they're all at least $90 more.
We can easily downsize on the case considering I don't really care if it's fancy. lol
That line has a good rep for air-flow, though. Asmile

Also forgot the motherboard.

$127 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157281

The Antec 900 also has a good reputation.
We can go cheaper with the case... Asmile
Also isn't that motherboard still AMD? :(

Yeah, if you want an intel chip, you'd need an intel board, too. So in that case:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116507

But honestly, budget PCs don't get intel stuff. Adissapoint

Self-imposed budget cause I don't want to spend too much of dad's money. Though assuming my budget was bigger what would you recommend?

given that my gpu was 300+. crazy.

namely ur cpu/gpu.

Bio's list is good, although i think he forgot the ram. Get 8GB since its mad cheap.

Based on the cpu Bio suggested, here are some combo deals to save you some cash.
The cpu also comes with a free blu-ray burner.

Agreed.

As you know, BF3's pretty intense on the physics. Having four discrete cores is better than two with hyperthreading. It depends on what resolution he's playing on, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

I'll tell you right away, drop the Seagate drive, they're awful.

Pay the extra money for a Western Digital. It's well worth it.

Lol, looks good, im fucking jealous of that 670 you're getting.

You should get ram with a 1600 speed instead. Its like a $3 difference.

Post by IceZZ Sat Jun 09, 2012 10:51 pm

I think the gtx 670 is a good deal, just got mine from the mail today.

I dont think the 690 will drop a lot, alteast not more than 100 euros.
My new pc below, only have the GPU atm, ordering the other stuff on monday.
Code:

  CPU         Intel Core i5-3570k
  MOBO   ASUS P8Z77-V LE
CPU C    Thermalright True Spirit 120
RAM       8GB Corsair Vengeance 1,600MHz LOW PROFILE / Volt
  VGA       Asus GTX670-DC2T-2GD5
  PSU        Sea Sonic m12II-620Bronze
  HDD1     Crucial m4 128GB (already owned)
  HDD2     Seagate Barracuda, 2TB 7200rpm 64mb
  CASE     Fractal Design Define R3

Is seagate that bad? Western digital has alot of bad reviews just like the seagate. Any HDD recommendations? Never really bought a HDD.

I'd get the Thermalright True Spirit for the cooler. Much cheaper and not as bulky while giving the same cooling power. I wish they had this thing when I bought my cooler. It was twice the price and doesn't really do any better. Also found your PSU for a dollar cheaper than newegg. Adur
