Tasogare Otome x Amnesia

Summary:
The story takes place in Seikyou Private School. A facility that consists of multiple buildings that connect together to accommodate both junior and senior high school students. Sixty years of ongoing renovations and expansions have meant most of the old inner structures have been sealed and abandoned. Classrooms turned into storage rooms, staircases no longer in use, hallways like dark alleys. With the existence of such a maze-like building, it is only natural that rumours of the paranormal would appear.

One day first-year middle school student Niiya Teiichi gets lost in this maze and by chance arrives at an old storage room. This is where he meets Kanoe Yuuko, a mysterious girl with raven black, long silky hair and a tall and slender figure, who introduces herself as the ghost of the old school building. For some unexplainable reason Niiya is the only one able to see this spirit and she herself does not have any recollection of the reasons or time of her death, nor any lingering feelings about life itself. Curious about the circumstances of her death the two create a paranormal investigation club and seek to find out the truth about it and the many other mysteries surrounding the school.

EHHHHH?! It's starting from the middle of the manga? Wat, is this an OVA? And I don't think we met Kirie until after all that. To be honest, this isn't as good as the manga.

Both of them are two of my favorite manga, definitely in my top 10 favorite ongoing series (and I read a lot of manga). If I absolutely had to pick one, it would be Tasogare Otome X Amnesia. As a couple, I find Niiya x Yuuko more interesting than Furuya x Rea. Also, Tasogare has more mystery to it (about Yuuko's past) that just keeps you wanting more. Lastly, though Tasogare's story tends to be more serious than Sankarea's, I still enjoy Tasogare's humor more than Sankarea's. But they're both excellent series. Let's just hope that the anime lives up to the manga. I was actually kind of disappointed with the first episode of Tasogare. It seems like they're starting the anime a couple volumes into the manga. I know they'll probably go back and show how Niiya and Yuuko met, but I wish they would have just started with that and stuck to the core plot. The anime is only going to be 12 episodes long, so I feel like they wasted an episode with this.

Nice to have a somewhat actually spooky ghost story that has a little comedy in it. Still on my watching list and I don't see it changing any time soon.

Episode 2 has 60% more side boob action. I kind of do like the way they started it and decided to show the introduction of the characters later on. Fills me with anticipation to see how the other girl meet them.
