It's mecha, so it's basically an instant watch for me.

Only thing I've seen is the other PV where it acts as a character intro while showing its comedic-side, and I found it pretty amusing.

I have the first episode queued up.

it does have its comedy scenes, and one time in battle theres some comedy but it gets serious when it needs to get serious lol

Gonna just wait until this finishes. Why cant we get any old Drawn/illustrated mecha animes anymore... Why does everything have to be this shitty 3d now adays.. Just because its cheaper doesn't mean they should use it. The quality is reduced insanely with this cheap ass 3d shit.

PS: I take some of that back.. First episode was pretty impressive.

I have. But unicorn still uses 2D mech animation too. I grew up watching lots of Mecha animes as a kid, so the whole 2D thing was a charm, it just looks so great. I just dont see the appeal of 3D animated Mech's. Japanese 2D style is what set it apart from American cartoons. And now they're just abandoning it because its cheaper. I can understand it financial wise, but with series like valrave the liberator, which is made by Sunrise.. a renowed Mech anime studio, which most recent 2D mecha anime was running from 2007 to 2010.. And now all of the sudden they've switched to 3D. Even though Almost all of Gundam 00 Mecha Fights look 10 times better than any of the 3D mecha battles they've shown in the Valrave PV.

With this one i guess it wasn't as bad since it had allot going on in the background, plus they're cutting frames from the animation to make it look more natural. But nothing beats old traditional 2D Mecha animation.

First episode was ok.

Not bad for a start, but lots of cliched characters so far that don't do much for me so far.

Though I got serious Voltron vibes from the show.

Second ep wasn't that good.

gender is apparently left ambiguous, the voice actress is female though.

male uniform, psychopath mother fucker, other persona is like a cutesy underclassmen which hasnt existed in the series yet.... its definitely a dude

The fights in this series make the show worth watching.
