Akame ga Kill!
Adaptation of the Manga by Takahiro

Synopsis: In a fantasy world, fighter Tatsumi sets out for the Capitol to earn money for his starving village, and finds a world of unimaginable corruption, all spreading from the depraved Prime Minister who controls the child Emperor's ear. After nearly becoming a victim of this corruption himself, Tatsumi is recruited by Night Raid, a group of assassins dedicated to eliminating the corruption plaguing the Capitol by mercilessly killing those responsible.

Bump this shit! Watched the first episode and it has the silliness of a typical shounen mixed with the darkness, gore and depravity of Attack on Titan.

I didn't expect the twist at the end of the first ep, looks like it might be quite a good anime. In fact, the entire season seems pretty good for Shounen fans. Even the mech anime (Argevollen) seems pretty good.

I hear good things about Argevollen so far, but I only have time for so many streams, so I'll have to pick that one up when it ends. I decided that Aldnoah would be my mech anime this season, I needed something different to watch and I am so glad I picked this one so far.
Its a 2 cour show too so there will be plenty to watch.

A bit too shounen I think but I've enjoyed it so far so I plan to watch it to the end. I do like that Tatsumi is actually a really good fighter.

What would you replace it with though? Its not too far off from the manga as seen below. I don't like it just cause I think its not very attractive. Okay I'm willing to say it after episode 6 (haven't watched 7 yet because I'm sticking with free crunchyroll).
