Plot Summary: Akihito Kanbara is a high school sophomore in the literature club who believes himself to be a "Meganest", and although he appears to be human, he is actually half Yōmu, which makes him invulnerable to wounds, due to the fact that he can heal so quickly, and also immortal. One day, Akihito meets freshman Mirai Kuriyama when it appears as if she is about to attempt suicide by jumping off of the school rooftop. Mirai is isolated because of her ability to manipulate blood, which is considered heresy even among other members of the underworld, so she is shunned. Soon after Akihito saves Mirai, disturbing events begin to arise.

Super pumped for this! I love these types of scenarios/plots. Looks like it's going to be an action-packed, gory, supernatural anime with a bit of romance and humor. Yes please.

I've been so disappointed with the last couple anime seasons (overall, not that they didn't have any good shows) but I'm so excited for the fall season.

This feels a little out there for KyoAni. Not that it's a bad thing. Hopefully it works out for them.

The closest thing they've done to fantasy action in the last several years are the chuuni scenes from chuu2.

whelp if the 1st ep is similar to the rest of the episodes and doesnt become darker or whatever then nevermind, endtimes averted.....i feel disappointed somehow....just gonna have to wait i guess

Mirai doesn't deserve it, so it's okay.

I still can't believe that KyoAni is animating this. The whole episode was a visual masterpiece. And Ai's the most adorable dreamshade ever. I rofl'd when Ayaka gave her the ball to play with when she left. x3

ep 8: start of the episode, first i thought woah we got some lesbian shit going on in here, then random bitch sinks.....the moment she sinks she didnt have any clothes.... i was like "well that escalated quickly" .... in more ways than one hue
