What Are You Watching - Non-weeaboo edition

Post by saintcross on Wed Dec 07, 2011 12:20 pm

Just watched Warrior, which was surprisingly good. The initial plot might have been generic but it was saved by great acting and some decent action.

The Adventures of TinTin!

I don't know where to start. This is easily my favorite movie of the year. The animation is amazing. The facial animations are better than those of L.A. Noir. Go watch it. Oh, and the 3D is pretty good too. There are a few instances of, "oh hey, let's swing this object to the foreground," but for the most part the 3D was a good implementation.

Summer Time Machine Blues. Ok it is a Japanese movie, but it is live action.

It has the best explanation of single-timeline time travel ever. Besides it is just amazing to see what they do. You have to watch it a couple of times to really understand what is going on. Just go and watch it.

Just watched Stool Pigeon I thought I was going to get transporter 3 tokyo drift but it ended up being very good. I love how Lunmei Kwai (shown above) looks in the movie. She is odd looking in a pretty way. Of the few live action aisan movies I have seen its ranks as number 2 in my list.

Been watching a lot of BBC America because of being sick. Top Gear is awesome as always, and Chef Ramsey is brilliant.

Watching Knight Rider on Netflix. It's a better show than I remembered, and not that corny...I guess that happens in later seasons. KITT is awesome, it doesn't even need a driver.
